Fighting for her political survival, BSP supremo Mayawati plans to hit the road in Uttar Pradesh to regain the support of the Dalits and revive her party.

Mayawati, according to the BSP sources here, will be holding rallies in different parts of the state, especially in the areas, where Dalits are in sizable numbers, in the next few months.

''A detailed plan is being prepared for holding rallies.....the campaign will be launched from Dalit dominated Agra district,'' said a senior BSP leader while speaking to Deccan Herald here.

Besides addressing the rallies, the BSP supremo also plans hold meetings of the booth level coordinators to discuss and chalk out the strategy to woo back the Dalits.

''Party leaders and coordinators have been asked to take up issues concerning the Dalits and reach out to the community in the rural areas,'' the leader added.

He said that BSP would be focussing more on the youths in a bid to counter the emergence of Dalit organisations like Bheem Army and some others in different parts of the state.
